Stillwater Oklahoma Forecast Update (3/16/21)

Today we have a slight risk for storms across our area, the OKC metro, and a large majority of the state of #Oklahoma. This risk is for the potential for a few strong to severe storms later this afternoon into tonight.

As of now my primary concern is for any discrete cells that could develop and potentially be capable of Golfball sized hail, 60mph winds, and a low tornado risk. Timing would be roughly anywhere between 7pm to 4am for storms.

With that being said, you will want to make sure to have ways to receive warnings this evening and overnight. Not everyone will see severe weather, we just want to let you know there’s a risk. To ease any fears this set up is nothing historic. Just stay weather alert, have a way to get warnings, and you’ll be fine. Stay tuned for updates Weather225.com
