Hail Across North Texas (4/28/2021)

Last night across our North Texas Coverage area, numerous communities were impacted by a strong supercell thunderstorm that produced hail anywhere between quarter to baseball sized, and even was tornado warned at one point in Tarrant County.

Our Powerful NEXRAD Doppler radar (as shown above) had an estimated hail path from last nights storms across the region, with estimated size totals. The most impactful storm across our coverage area moved through parts of DFW in northern Tarrant and southern Denton counties.

Some of the hardest hit communities across Tarrant and Denton counties were: Saginaw, Trophy Club, Keller, Southlake, and Flower Mound. Hail up to baseball sized was reported between the Saginaw and Keller area at times.
