Good evening North Texas. The Winter Storm Watch that was issued for parts of our north and western counties, has now expanded into the parts of the immediate metro area (Tarrant, Denton, Wise, Grayson) Within the Watch area, there is a potential for the development of heavy sleet, transitioning to snow, with accumulations between 1-2″ of snow possible. Travel hazards are likely in the Watch area. The Watch goes from Late Tuesday into Wednesday afternoon
For areas outside the Watch, there is still the potential for slick spots on area roads, and bridges and overpasses.
