The SPC and NWS has issued a Tornado Watch for the following counties in North and Central Texas
ANDERSON, BELL, BOSQUE,
BURNET, COMANCHE, CORYELL,
ELLIS, ERATH, FALLS,
FREESTONE, HAMILTON, HENDERSON,
HILL, HOOD, JOHNSON,
KAUFMAN, LAMPASAS, LEON,
LIMESTONE, LLANO, MCLENNAN,
MILAM, MILLS, NAVARRO,
ROBERTSON, SOMERVELL, VAN ZANDT
Until 6pm this evening!
A Tornado Watch means that conditions are favorable for the development of severe weather including tornadoes, large hail and damaging winds, in, and close to the watch area. While severe weather may not be occurring at this moment, people should remain alert for rapidly changing conditions. Stay tuned to NOAA radio, NWS media, and Weather225DFW for the latest!
And also remember just because you aren’t in a watch or specific outlook area, it does not mean you will not see storms!
