Sunday November 26 Update

Good Sunday afternoon NTX. Today we’ll see highs reach into the mid 70s with mostly clear skies across the region.

No significant changes in the forecast for this upcoming week, no rain chances really anytime in the near future for the immediate DFW area. Fire Danger may be an issue as we head into the week with abnormally to severe drought conditions across most of NTX.

We head towards the end of November with 17 days so far with above normal temperatures across the DFW region, and 8 days with bellow normal temperatures. The average normal temps for November are usually around 56 degrees. The record Highs were 65 (2016) and our average temperatures this year have been around 62 degrees.

Again there doesn’t look to be any real rain chances for NTX over the next week. However models are hinting our next rain chances could be around the first week of December around the 5th. It looks now like we could see a fairly strong cold front push through the region bringing cooler temperatures and some sort of rain chances. But remember these are models and are not a guarantee, and there is still quite some time between now and then for the forecast to change. But for now this is definitely something to hope for as we desperately need rain across much of the area.

enjoy the rest of the weekend!
