Fog Tonight Rain Tomorrow

Good evening North Texas, we have a few things to mention for tonight into tomorrows forecast. To start a dense fog advisory has been issues until 10am tomorrow morning for most of the region. Be cautious while on the roadways with reduced visibility!Tomorrow, widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected, with coverage near 100% expected for most of NTX from tomorrow morning into tomorrow evening. Most of the area should see some measurable rainfall easily tomorrow as totals near 1-2″ are possible in some spots.Severe weather is not anticipated, however some isolated thunderstorms may produce some hail, and gusty winds south and east of DFW. Flash Flooding will also be a concern with this widespread rain activity, the WPC (weather prediction center) has issued a slight risk for a flash flooding threat tomorrow, and it includes much of NTX, so we’ll need to keep an eye on low lying areas, and areas prone to flash flooding. This rain activity will be well welcomed as most of NTX is under moderate to severe drought conditions, and we’ll take any rainfall we can get. Rain activity could start as early as 9am for parts of NTX tomorrow morning, so you’ll probably want to grab an umbrella before you head out.  Be sure to visit the interactive radar right here on our site to track the rain activity!
