As we’ve seen throughout the morning hours most of NTX has seen some measurable rainfall. Totals over Tarrant, Dallas, and Collin counties have reached near 1.30″-1.60″ in some spots. Widespread showers and thunderstorms will continue across the region into the evening hours tonight.Besides Flash Flooding becoming a possible issue with rain activity today, severe weather may also be possible for areas from Texarkana to Terell to Hillsboro and areas east where the SPC has issued a (1/5) marginal risk. Storms along the warm front may produce gusty winds, and if instability increases more than anticipated a tornado threat cannot be rolled out.
