9:20am update for storms 4/6/19

Good morning North Texas. As you may know there’s an advancing line of storms headed towards the region. These storms are moving roughly at 40mph towards the region, and are currently below severe limits. Reports of 45-50mph winds and small hail have been coming in from this line so far.

We’ll have to watch this as it approaches as some parts of the line may strengthen. Timing wise we’re sticking to our times we posted last evening. For DFW timing will most likely be from 9:50am-2pm

At this point there are no watches, however you should still stay weather aware and make sure you have a plan in the event of severe storms throughout the day, and you can track the storms here on weather225.com and follow our media sites for the very latest! Storms once again will have the potential for damaging winds, large hail, and maybe a few isolated tornadoes. The tornado threat is low but not zero
