Friday & Saturday Rain Chances

Good Morning NTX, today we’ll see some isolated showers possible across central and eastern NTX. Coverage during the day will be isolated at around 20% coverage.Rain coverage will be fairly more widespread late tonight into early Saturday as a cold front pushes through the region. Rain totals will stay well bellow an inch, but we’ll take any rainfall we can get! Lows tonight behind the front will be in the 40s and 50s. Rain chances will continue into Saturday Morning across DFW, then Saturday afternoon rain chances will shift for areas east and south east of DFW. Severe weather is not anticipated at this time.In other weather related news, now that the  gov shutdown is over, the NWS events such as the free skywarn spotter training classes are back up and running. The next spotter class will be tomorrow in Fort Worth! Classes are free to anyone if you are interested in learning more about severe weather.
