Good evening NTX and happy Monday. To start this post, there have been 3 confirmed tornadoes from yesterdays storms. The ratings are listed bellow
Update. 3 #tornadoes have been confirmed from yesterdays storms
EF-1 in #Arlington
EF-0 west of Keller (North #FortWorth)
EF-0 over Eagles Mountain Lake
The weather service is still surveying areas around Irving, Bedford, and Farmers Branch, however at this point the NWS believes 65-70mph straight lined winds occurred in these areas and not a spin up. Updates to come
You can send your photos from yesterdays storms to any of our pages via direct message @weather225dfw
Tomorrow storm chances will return to the region as theres a possibility a complex of storms north west of the region may move into our area tomorrow night and another Wednesday as well. Chances tomorrow look to be not as high as wednesday at this time, as parts of NTX are under a (1/5) marginal risk for areas north west of DFW. The area at this point in time, has been placed in a (2/5) slight risk for storms Wednesday.
Damaging winds, hail, and maybe a tornado will be possible with storms. Not everyone will see storms or severe weather, and theres still uncertainties with these forecasts, so stay tuned.
Have roof damage from the past weeks storms? Give ProperTcovers a call. They’re local and trust worthy. I personally don’t just let any business advertise on my site, because theres a lot of shady “contractors” that pop up after any severe weather event. They haven’t asked me to post this, I’m just sharing their information because i know they’re great, and I’ve let them advertise on the site. Give them a call at 817-404-2826
