Early this morning Tropical Storm Elsa strengthened into a Category 1 Hurricane, as it moves into Barbados, with Hurricane Force winds of 72 mph, with gusts up to 92 mph.
It’s current path has it remaining as a CAT 1 storm until it reaches the southeastern coast of Cuba. Before making its way towards and into Florida as a Tropical Storm (as of now). However, this track may change again, so continue to monitor the forecast if you live in Florida. And it may be a good idea to prepare ahead of the storm in the coming days.
