Tropical Update (6/28/21)

This morning an area in the western Atlantic, just a few hundred miles off the coast of portions of Georgia and South Carolina, has officially developed into Tropical Depression Four.

As this storm approaches the coastal areas of northern GA, and southern SC, this storm could potentially strengthen into Tropical Storm Danny, bringing strong winds, and heavy rain to coastal areas today and tonight.

Tropical Storm Warnings have been issued for a large portion of central and southern coastal areas of South Carolina ahead of Tropical Depression Four.

Days 1-2 rainfall totals for costal areas in northern GA, and SC look to be anywhere between 1-4” leading to some risk for flooding. Stay tuned to local officials and NWS for more!
