This morning the National Hurricane Center has issued Tropical Storm Watches for a large portion of the North Carolina Coast.

At this time the current forecast shows Claudette making its way to the Northeast towards the North Carolina coast by Monday as a Tropical Depression, before potentially re-strengthening into a tropical storm as it makes its way out to sea just off the northeastern coast by early Tuesday.

Stay tuned for updates from local National Weather Service, and officials. We’ll have additional updates as Claudette makes its way towards the North Carolina coast over the next 48 hours.
