Good morning NTX. A dryline will develop across western NTX before pushing through theregion Sunday bringing a threat for thunderstorms and fire weather conditions. The SPC has placed parts of north and north eastern TX under a (1/5) Marginal Risk for strong to severe storms Sunday evening into early Monday. As of now if any storms are to develop they should stay east of the imediate DFW metro area. The main threat would be strong winds. Check back for further details as we get closer into the weekend
Another issue for Sunday will be fire weather conditions. A Fire Weather Watch will be issued from 9am Sunday to 11pm Sunday night in the areas shadded in orange mainly in western NTX. Dry conditions low humidity and warm temperatures will bring the threat for dry vegitation to catch fire easily, so avoid any outdoor burning.
