Rain/Storms possible once again tonight

We had an active evening last night across the area, with several storms that were warned for damaging winds last night across much but not all of the area. We got reports of winds near 60+ MPH last night from a storm in Denton Co, and pictures of tree damage from powerful winds out of the Plano area last night. Besides that parts of the area saw some much needed rain. Today/Tonight however we could see another round of storms across the area, some of which will once again pose a threat for damaging downburst winds, however latest data is saying our atmosphere is not as unstable as it was last night so if this is true we could see less activity than we saw or anticipated. Storms are possible across all the region at a lower percent of coverage expected at around 20-40%, thus not everyone will see rain or storms this afternoon. This evening and tonight rain and storm chances increase for the area as coverage could become greater from 50-70%. Some storms could reach strong to near severe limits with damaging winds, and heavy rainfall

Have a great afternoon! If you are planning on attending outdoor events just remember to keep an eye on the sky
