Storms going up along the red river (3:50am 6/21/2020)

(As of 3:50am) Storms are starting to develop around the Red River along the TX and OK border. On the Oklahoma side, a storm is currently producing large hail near Golfball sized and 60mph winds.

On the TX side, within the viewing area, we have a few storms developing around the Gainesville area. These may produce hail near nickel sized, as well as some gusty winds near 40-55mph. We’ll monitor these as storms continue to strengthen and develop. Stay tuned to Weather225 and track the activity with our interactive maps

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 7am for parts of the area, including 2 of the 4 immediate DFW counties (Collin, Denton).
