Good afternoon North Texas, we’re currently monitoring some storm development to our West this afternoon. Currently a storm located Southwest of Throckmorton, is warned for the potential of 60mph winds, and half dollar sized hail.
Some of this activity may come close to, or reach some of our far Western counties this afternoon and evening. However, not everyone will see strong activity, or general shower/storm activity. Widespread severe activity is not anticipated.
Latest HRRR model guidance is suggesting these storms will continue to linger for the next few hours, mainly over areas West of our coverage area, before dying off later this evening. Forecast continues to look like the immediate DFW Metroplex will be storm free this evening.
