Cold the remainder of the week

Good afternoon NTX. As we mentioned on our posts throughout the week we weren’t to confident in the forecast for impacting winter precipitation in the DFW metroplex. And pretty much we were on point about more impacts south and east of DFW with some minor accumulations over DFW. There were slick spots across the southern and south eastern part of the region this morning that caused some travel problems. For the remainder of the day area highs wont reach above freezing as we should stay between 29-31 today, and its not going to get warmer within the next 48 hours.Hard Freeze Warning in effect for the areas shaded in blue. Lows tonight into tomorrow will reach into the teens and single digits! We’ll have to watch and see if any additional freeze advisories will be issues for more of the region later today. You’re going to want to bundle up tomorrow before you head out!
