WEATHER 225 MEDIA- Weather 225 is excited to announce that we are returning to full operations as of mid-May 2026. Weather 225 was founded in 2015 by Joshua Wisel and was one of the first online weather platforms exclusively for the DFW area market, bringing a new way of covering weather outside of traditional weather coverage and segments.
Weather 225 since has grown into other local markets, including Northeast Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas, and could potentially grow into other local markets in the future.
Since day 1, our commitment has been “Weather Local to You” as we seek to provide an innovative way to bring you local weather coverage.
Starting mid-May, weather 225 will have a re-launch from our new state of the art media studio, where we can provide better updates, coverage, and have more state of the art technology to provide you the best weather updates possible in our markets.
