WEATHER 225- Joshua Wisel is the Owner and Chief Weather Analyst for Weather 225. Joshua founded Weather 225 Media back in 2015 launching one of the first local online weather platforms for the DFW coverage market. Since then Weather 225 has grown into other markets leading the way in online weather coverage and streaming.
Joshua grew up terrified of storms when he was a child, this fear turned later into passion as he started learning more about the weather, and since then has made weather forecasting, coverage, and analysis apart of his daily life.
He has experience in weather coverage both with Weather 225, and other streaming groups. Joshua had a brief stint in Television News as a broadcast forecaster before returning to Weather 225 full time.
Joshua is a native North Texan who grew up in the DFW area until he attended college at Oklahoma State University, before transferring and then Graduating at the University of Arkansas in fall of 2024. Joshua loves the Razorbacks and the Northwest Arkansas community.
